Letympou has a population of about 300 and is approximately 12kms from Paphos and 25kms from Polis. This is a pretty little village, with numerous churches, the most interesting being Agios Kyriakos and Agia Ioulitti which was built in the 15th century. Inside the church you will see some very impressive preserved paintings on the walls. Being such a small village, it has only one taverna, four coffee shops and one small minimarket. In the village square there is an oil press, a restored fountain and the Heroes Monument, adding to the character of this charming village. An old quarry at Letympou is now used to produce marble tiles for the floors of traditional houses. Unfortunately, there are no sea views from Letympou but there are some superb mountain views.
